We are in a position to offer Powerboat Training Courses for Adults staying in our self catering accommodation at the Admirals House.

There are a strong fleet of boats for every use, from simple tiller driven rescue boats, to the high performance 6.5m RIB with 1.7 inboard diesel engine. Every ISA Powerboat certificate is available here, see below. Or if some fast and furious fun is what you want, check this out.

Powerboat Instructor Training for Experienced Powerboaters
Even if you have NO existing ISA qulifications, we can get you qualified to become an Instructor to teach Powerboat Level 2, Safety Boat, Dive Boat Coxswain & Advanced Powerboating.

1 Day ISA Level 1 Cert

2 Day ISA National Powerboat Cert
Level 2 The National Powerboat Cert. is for those with some basic Powerboat experience. Learning launch & recovery, high speed control, confined monoeuvres, manover board and much more. Beginners can also do this course to gain their Level 1 & benefit from additioal experience.

2 Day ISA Sports Boat Cert

2 Day ISA Safety Boat Cert
Rescue & fleet control, improved boat handling, working with kayakers, sailors, sindsurfers & swimmers. Essential for watersports instructors or anyone that controls a powerboat with othe rwatersports users around. You need your Level 2 cert or ability to take this course.

ISA Dive Coxwain Cert
Currently in the creation stage with the ISA.

2 Day ISA Advanced Powerboat Cert
Teaching boat handling, seamanship, pilotage & navigation for driving your powerboat safely by day & night in tidal coastal waters. This is a high level training course that pushes your powerboating skills to the limit. Candidates should be competent to PB L2 stand and have a navigational knowledge of Coastal Skipper Level. Holding a VHF license is an advantage.

Private Tuition in own powerboat also available.
